The aim of this course is to give all school personnel, the knowledge and confidence to play their part in adequately protecting the welfare of pupils in their school.
We will achieve this by:
- Explaining your role in protecting pupils
- Explaining what amounts to abuse and the signs to look out for
- Explaining the action you must take if you suspect abuse
- Explaining the duties and responsibilities of key personnel in your school, and agencies in Ireland, relevant to Child Protection and Welfare of Children
